Since 2007 Pegasus has provided an innovative program for children with autism spectrum disorders on Monday evenings.  This specialized program, which integrated both mounted and unmounted activities for the Level I class, deals with activities that seek to improve communications skills and social interaction, sensory integration and behavior modification.  The Level II class is made up of the more advanced riders whose skills have progressed to the point where they are riding "under saddle".  Riders in the Autism Program must first participate in the Pegasus program before they can become eligible to join the Autism Program.
