Clyde
Our pony cross bred gelding, who was funded by a Masonic Group, is used with therapy pads as well as under saddle. He was shown at the HRE of the Devon Horse Show shortly after his purchase and performed admirably. He is the heart of our program and is often the first pony that our clients ever ride. He has aided many riders in overcoming their fears and moving onto success in our program. |

| Petey
A thoroughbred gelding. He was primarily used as a hunter horse and was donated to Pegasus when his owner could no longer ride. His quiet disposition and willing heart has added a greater dimension to our program. He takes many of his riders to victory at the horse shows. |
Cherokee
A registered Overo Paint gelding and was donated by Ms Ali in April 2003. His calm nature helps many riders gain confidence which makes him an invaluable member of our saddle program. |
|

| Gus
A Belgian Draft gelding, was donated to our program by Kal Rudman. Gus spent a short period of time as a member of the Philadelphia Mounted Police. Gus is a strong dependable horse that is able to work with our riders in many different capacities. |
Sergio
A Halflinger/Belgian cross breed gelding. He was purchased for the program and has become a key member of the team. He was named in honor of a special child rider who passed away. He works under saddle and in equine assisted therapy. He has proven to be an ideal therapy horse and rises to meet any challenge. |

| Casey
Our Percheron gelding, was a carriage horse in New York City. He is being used in our therapy program with great success. His temperament and understanding of exactly what his rider needs are exceptional. He has truly become a key member of our equine staff. |
Timber
Our largest horse in the barn is Timber, a Belgian gelding. Timber came from the Pennsylvania Pocono region where he was a logging horse. Every day he pulled large piles of logs through the woods.. He also gave trail rides through the mountains. Timber has the sweetest personality and will smile on command. He is truly a gentle giant. |

| Squirt
A POA gelding who was donated to Pegasus from a family that frequently rescues animals big and small. They saved Squirt’s life by purchasing the sickly 3 month old Pony of America and nursing him back to health. When Squirt turned three years old, it was time to find him a job! He is now one of our star ponies for the lesson program.

Big Mac
As the smallest member of our equine staff, he is the only Miniature horse at Pegasus. He was purchased for our clients, so they may love and groom a horse that does not tower above them. Big Mac is also a great horse to introduce to anyone who may be afraid of our larger horses. He has proven to be a great representative for Pegasus, proudly trotting around the Grand concourse at Citizens Bank Park during the annual Autism Walk or making special appearances at community events. |
|

| Prince Caspian
An Arab pony cross breed, has been a great addition to our program. Although he was a former competitor for many years he has transitioned easily to our program and enjoys all of the attention he gets from our volunteers and riders. He is quite the character and enjoys running around the pastures with his buddy Petey. |
Obie
Another senior member of our equine staff who is being leased to Pegasus. He is a Saddlebred cross whose gaits have been great for those riders who require a smoother ride. He has a long history of trail riding in Pennypack Park and enjoys taking his riders on relaxing rides in the woods. |
|

| Mason
A very talented Appaloosa Draft cross who comes to us through a free lease. He has extensive showing experience and performed well for his riders in the HRD of the Devon Horse Show. He comes from Florida so winters here are tough on him, but with a heavy blanket and a warm stall he has become a valuable addition to our program. |
