Horse crazy riders and instructors have accepted the challenge to improve their riding and participate in riding without stirrups during November! We’ve been following many top riders across the country riding without their stirrups.  Our instructors thought it would be fun (yes… crazy aren’t they?) to participate too.  During exercise riding our instructors have been without stirrups and it has continued into our supervised lesson program for many of our Pegasus riders as well as they dedicate a portion of their lesson to riding without stirrups.

Riding without stirrups helps to improve balance, strengthen a rider’s position, and helps a rider be more in tune with their horse.

Way to go, Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy riders!
