Farewell Jaime

Jaime Smith, our Program Director will be leaving Pegasus at the beginning of  November due to her husband’s job relocation. Jaime has been at Pegasus since 2009 when she initially joined as barn staff. In the past six years, she has quickly risen through the ranks and enabled Pegasus to be the excellent program it is today. Words cannot begin to express the thanks we have to Jaime. She is not one to enjoy people making a fuss over her leaving. However, write her a note and tell her how you feel. We know she would appreciate it. Filling her shoes will be Teresa Doherty, our current Asst. Program Director. Instructor and Volunteer Coordinator, Haley Flagg, will move into Teresa’s former position.

Buy A Bale is Back

Beginning October 13th, we will be kicking off our annual Buy A Bale campaign with a competitive twist. Due to last year’s success, we will be offering prizes to the person who “sells” the most bales in two separate categories: riders and volunteers. Every willing rider and volunteer will be given an envelope and materials that will enable them to solicit contributions for the Buy A Bale campaign. The campaign runs through November 30th. It’s an easy way for people to make a small donation that can have an impact.

Check out what’s happening at Pegasus in our October 2015 Hoofprints newsletter.
