Congratulations to Teresa Doherty on her promotion to Program Director of Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy. Rising through the ranks of volunteer, summer program staff, director of the summer program and most recently assistant program director, Teresa is the epitome of home grown talent. With her passion for our riders, horses and programs she has been a vital team member at Pegasus for implementing new program standards and ensuring safety protocols paramount for Pegasus’ PATH premiere center certification. Teresa holds degrees in equine science and psychology from Rocky Mountain College. She also holds certifications from PATH for Equine Specialist in Mental Health as well as therapeutic riding instructor.
