Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers, riders, families & staff for an awesome Volunteer Appreciation Dinner and Welcome Back Dinner. It was a great night celebrating our volunteers and all their amazing contributions to Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy.
Congratulations to our senior volunteer of the year award winner, Glen Gawinowicz. Glen has been a regular Wednesday night volunteer for the past 9 years. He’s always willing to take that extra step to help out the riders and even helped one rider stretch before lessons in order to improve the therapeutic experience.
The junior volunteer of the year award goes to Elysia Rodriguez. Elysia first came to Pegasus as a high school intern and since then has become one of the volunteers who is always here when you need her. We can rely on her to lead horses, exercise horses and even clean stalls. She is an all-around asset to the program.
We are fortunate to have the amazing Jan Hankel celebrating 25 years of volunteer service to Pegasus! Thank you Jan for all you do for our horses, riders and our Pegasus program!
It was a wonderful evening of great food prepared and served by our Board of Directors, Raffle baskets donated by all of our Pegasus staff members, barn tours, pictures with horses, Pegasus Quizzo and dancing with all of our friends.
